A Unique View of Exceptional Archeology
We were commissioned by PCAS Archeology to record their site at Navenby, Lincoln by drone
PCAS Archeology Ltd are a consultancy primarily assisting commercial developers. As they were completing their investigations alongside the “High Dyke” roman road in Navenby they commissioned us to record the site prior to hand-over to the developer. Despite the proximity of a number of military air bases Through the Lens were able, as fully CAA approved operators, to deploy a drone to provide a whole range of images of the site & archeology.
With such a large site we were able to capture the entire extent of work in a single image by creating a high quality, optically correct panorama (above), a combination of eight separate photos carefully stitched together.
Furthermore we created a unique interactive & augmented 360° view of the entire site and surrounding village to not only record but also allow PCAS Archeology to continue studying the location, explore the 360° photo below by clicking & dragging.
Aerial photography has the potential to open up all kinds of sites & locations, providing a truly unique view and when added to our virtual tour capabilities it can become a fantastic, interactive resource for your business. The sky really is the limit, get in touch with us now to discuss how we can create a unique view for your business.
